Ex-India Star's Shocking Wish: Wants Pakistan To Win Champions Trophy

Former cricketer Atul Wassan gave a big surprise by saying that he wants Pakistan to win against India in the Champions Trophy match on Sunday. This match is very important because Pakistan has already lost one game and must win to stay in the tournament.

Pakistan lost their first match to New Zealand by 60 runs. Now, if they lose to India, they will have very little chance to reach the next round. Their fate will depend on other teams' results and points. Wassan said that if Pakistan wins, the tournament will become more interesting and exciting.

"I want Pakistan to win because that will make the tournament more fun. If Pakistan does not win, then what will happen next? A win for Pakistan will make the competition fair and exciting," Wassan said.

Wassan also spoke about India’s team and said that India has a very strong batting lineup. He praised players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Shubman Gill. He also said that India’s strategy of picking more spin bowlers is the right choice for Dubai’s pitch conditions.

Pakistan did not start well in the tournament, but India won their first match easily against Bangladesh by six wickets. If India wins against Pakistan, they will move closer to the next round. But if Pakistan loses, their journey in the tournament may end soon.

India’s team is led by Rohit Sharma, with important players like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Rishabh Pant. All-rounders like Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel add strength to the team. India has focused more on spin bowlers, picking Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, and Varun Chakaravarthy. The fast bowling attack includes Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep Singh.

Pakistan’s team captain is Mohammad Rizwan. The team has top players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Haris Rauf. Pakistan needs to play very well against India to keep their hopes alive in the tournament.
