Prime Minister Narendra Modi and NCP-SP chief Sharad Pawar shared a warm moment at the 98th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan on Friday. The event took place in New Delhi and was filled with many respected guests. A special gesture from PM Modi caught everyone’s attention and won big applause from the audience.

At the start of the event, PM Modi was supposed to light the ceremonial lamp to begin the festival. But instead of doing it alone, he invited Sharad Pawar, who was the chairman of the reception committee, to join him. This kind act showed respect for the senior leader and was praised by the people present.

Later, after Sharad Pawar finished his speech, he walked to his seat next to PM Modi. Seeing him, the Prime Minister gently helped the 83-year-old leader sit down. Not only that, but he also poured a glass of water and offered it to him. This moment touched everyone’s heart, and the audience clapped loudly to appreciate Modi’s kind act.

When PM Modi started his speech, he made sure to mention that he was attending the event because of Pawar’s personal invitation. He said, “Today, at the invitation of Sharad Pawarji, I have got this opportunity to join this proud tradition.” These words showed the respect between the two leaders, even though they belong to different political parties.

Throughout the event, both leaders were seen talking in a friendly way, smiling, and sharing light conversations. This rare moment of warmth and respect between them became one of the highlights of the function and was discussed by many people.
