Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi left Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi on Friday morning after a routine health check-up. She had gone to the hospital on Thursday morning for regular medical tests.

Doctors checked her health and kept her under watch for a day. They did not find any major health problems. After finishing all the necessary tests, doctors said she was fine and allowed her to go home.

Sonia Gandhi often goes for health check-ups because of past health issues. She has also traveled abroad for medical care many times. This visit to the hospital was part of her regular health routine.

After her discharge, many Congress leaders and party members felt relieved that she was doing well. In the past, her son Rahul Gandhi and daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have often been with her during such hospital visits.

The Congress party has not given an official statement, but people close to her family have said she is in good health. She is expected to rest for some time before returning to her usual work.
