Champions Trophy 2025 Row: Pakistan's Name Missing From Logo in IND vs BAN

The Champions Trophy 2025 has started with a big problem. During the live telecast of the India vs Bangladesh match in Dubai, Pakistan’s name was missing from the tournament logo. This made many fans angry, and people started talking about it on social media.

In the first match of the tournament, the logo on TV had Pakistan’s name because Pakistan is the host country. But in the second match, Pakistan’s name was not there. Many people noticed this and started asking why it happened. Some thought it was done on purpose, while others believed it was a mistake.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) gave a quick answer. As per Geo TV, an ICC official said that this was a “technical mistake” and not done on purpose. He also said that from the next match, Pakistan’s name will be back on the logo.

“The missing name was due to a graphics issue. It will be fixed from the next match. It was not possible to change the logo while the match was going on,” the ICC official said.

However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is not happy with this answer. As per ESPNCricinfo, PCB has asked ICC to give a proper explanation in writing. Even though ICC has spoken to them informally, PCB wants a formal reply about how such an error happened.

Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has shared his thoughts on the upcoming India vs Pakistan match. He believes that Pakistan will have an advantage when they play against India in Dubai.

Speaking on JioHotstar’s show Greatest Rivalry Returns, Yuvraj said, "I think Pakistan has a small advantage because they have played a lot of matches in Dubai. They know the conditions well."

He also said that both Indian and Pakistani players are good at playing spin bowling, which will be important in this match. According to him, this game is not just about big players, but about which team can adjust better on match day.

When we look at past records, Pakistan has done better than India in the Champions Trophy. While India has won more matches in World Cups, Pakistan has a 3-2 lead over India in the Champions Trophy. Their biggest win came in the 2017 final when they defeated India by 180 runs. At that time, Virat Kohli’s team was one of the best in chasing big targets.

As the Champions Trophy 2025 continues, all eyes will be on the India vs Pakistan match. While the missing logo issue will be fixed soon, the excitement for the tournament is getting bigger every day.
