RRB Group D 2025: Registration deadline extended for 32,438 posts

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has given more time for people to apply for Group D jobs in 2025. Now, the last date to apply is March 1, 2025. Before this, the last date was February 22, 2025, but now it has been changed. People who want to apply must also pay the application fee before March 3, 2025, by 11:59 PM. If someone makes a mistake in the form, they can correct it between March 4 and March 13, 2025.

This recruitment has many job positions like Assistant Bridge, Assistant Loco Shed (Diesel), Track Maintainer, Assistant C&W, Assistant Depot (Stores), Cabin Man, and Pointsman. People who want to apply should check the official notice to know more about these job positions.

To apply, candidates must go to the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). First, they need to register, then log in, fill out the form, pay the fee, and submit the form. After submitting, they should download and print the confirmation page for later use.

The person who applies should be between 18 and 36 years old by January 1, 2025. People who missed applying in the past because of Covid-19 will get 3 years extra to apply. Candidates must also be medically fit for the job. If they fail the medical test, they will not get the job, and no other job will be given to them.

For fees, general category candidates must pay ₹500. This money will be given back if they appear for the exam. People from SC, ST, PWBD, female, transgender, ex-servicemen, minority, and EBC categories must pay ₹250. This money will also be given back after they appear for the exam. The starting salary for this job is ₹18,000 per month.

The selection process has two parts. First, there will be a computer-based test. After that, there will be a physical fitness test. Male candidates must complete a 1000-meter run in 4 minutes and 15 seconds. They must also carry 35 kg of weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes. Female candidates must complete a 1000-meter run in 5 minutes and 40 seconds. They must also carry 20 kg of weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes.

Candidates must check that their date of birth in the application form is the same as in their Class 10 certificate. If there is any mistake, their application can be rejected. People who want to apply should not wait for the last date. They should fill out the form carefully and submit it on time.
