PM Modi Urges Investors to Choose Madhya Pradesh for Growth

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that Madhya Pradesh is becoming a great place for business, and now is the best time to invest in the state. He was speaking at the ‘Invest Madhya Pradesh - Global Investors Summit 2025,’ held near the beautiful Upper Lake in Bhopal. This big event was organized to show business people and investors the many chances they have to grow their business in the state.

During his speech, PM Modi said that the World Bank believes India will remain the fastest-growing big economy in the world for the next two years. He said that because of this, India is a good place for investment. He also spoke about how the Deregulation Commission will help make rules easier for businesses, so investors will not face problems while starting or expanding in different states.

PM Modi also said that India is becoming a major supplier for global aerospace companies. He added that industries like textiles, tourism, and technology will create millions of jobs in the coming years. He also praised Madhya Pradesh for playing a big role in India’s electric vehicle (EV) revolution. He said that the state has many opportunities in the health and wellness sector and that the world is now looking at India for medical treatments under the ‘Heal in India’ initiative.

During the event, PM Modi announced 18 new policies made by the Madhya Pradesh government to attract businesses. He praised the ‘double engine’ government, meaning that the same party is in power in both the state and the centre, and said that this has doubled the speed of progress in MP. He reminded people that 20 years ago, Madhya Pradesh had many problems like electricity shortages, lack of water, and weak law and order. Because of these problems, businesses did not want to invest in the state. But in the last two decades, the state has worked hard to solve these issues and has now become one of the top places for investment in India.

PM Modi also shared that a UN climate organization recently called India a "solar power superpower." He said that while many countries only talk about climate change, India is taking real steps to make a difference.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also spoke at the event. He said that this Investors Summit will help Madhya Pradesh become an important place for global business. He also promised that his government will work to double the state’s economy in the next five years. This is part of India’s bigger goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047. He also announced that 2025 will be called the ‘Year of Industries and Employment’ in Madhya Pradesh. This means the state will focus on bringing more businesses and creating more jobs for people.

With these new policies, a fast-growing economy, and strong support from the government, Madhya Pradesh is becoming one of the best places for businesses to invest and grow.
