At least four people, including three students, were killed, and ten others were injured in a tragic road accident in Raichur district on Wednesday morning. According to the police, the vehicle they were traveling in was overturned during the early hours of the day.
The vehicle was carrying students from Mantralaya Sanskrit Pathashala, who were on a pilgrimage to Hampi. They were going to offer prayers at the Narahari Temple. The accident happened near Araginamara Camp in the Sindhanur area.
The deceased students have been identified as Aryavandan (18), Sucheendra (22), and Abhilash (20). The driver of the vehicle, Shiva (24), also lost his life in the accident. The ten injured people have been taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The Sindhanur police rushed to the scene of the accident. They shifted the bodies of the victims to the mortuary and took the injured to the hospital for medical care. The community is mourning the loss of these young lives.
