Some CCTV videos of women being treated at a maternity hospital in Rajkot, Gujarat, have been shared online. The videos, showing women getting injections, were posted on YouTube and Telegram, raising concerns about privacy and safety.
The clips, which were from Payal Maternity Home, spread quickly and were seen by many people. This made people worried about the security at a hospital that should be a safe place for women.
The hospital’s director, Dr. Amit Akbari, was asked about the videos. He said that the hospital's CCTV system had likely been hacked. "I don’t know how the videos went viral. It looks like our CCTV server was hacked. We don’t know why this happened, but we will inform the police and work with them in the investigation," he said.
The police in Rajkot have opened a case. They are talking to the hospital staff and checking the videos to find out how they were made and shared. The police say they will charge anyone involved under laws that protect privacy and prevent sharing inappropriate content.
The police are still investigating who made the videos, why they were made, and how they ended up online. This case has made people worried about how hospitals protect the privacy of their patients and how they can keep such incidents from happening again.
