Neeraj Chopra, the former Olympic javelin champion, recently announced his marriage to tennis player Himani Mor in an intimate ceremony. The announcement came on Sunday, January 19, when Neeraj shared the happy news on social media.

In his post, Neeraj, who has won both Olympic gold and silver medals, shared pictures from the ceremony, which included his family. He expressed his gratitude and happiness, saying, "Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after."

Himani Mor, who is a professional tennis player, has an impressive educational background. She graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University and later worked as a part-time volunteer assistant coach at Franklin Pierce University. Himani also managed the women’s tennis team at Amherst College, handling their training, scheduling, recruitment, and budgets. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sports Management and Administration at the McCormack Isenberg School of Management.

Himani hails from Larsauli, Haryana, and studied at Little Angels School in Sonipat, the same school attended by tennis player Sumit Nagal. Her brother, Himanshu, is also a tennis player. Himani later moved to Delhi's Miranda House, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Physical Education before continuing her education in the United States.

While Neeraj and Himani's wedding ceremony took place in India, the exact location has not been revealed. Neeraj's uncle, Bhim, mentioned that the couple had already left for their honeymoon but did not share the details of their travel plans.

Himani's career in tennis has been successful, with her highest national ranking being 42nd in singles and 27th in doubles in 2018. She started competing in AITA events in 2018 and has made a mark in the tennis world.

Neeraj Chopra, on the other hand, made history by winning India’s first Olympic gold medal in javelin at the 2021 Tokyo Summer Games. He also earned a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics and has claimed several gold medals in prestigious tournaments like the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games. Neeraj trained under the guidance of Jan Zelezny, the world record-holding javelin legend from the Czech Republic, and is a World Championship gold and silver medalist.

The couple, who now share a new chapter in their lives, continues to be a source of inspiration for many.
