A 25-year-old man was killed in Outer North Delhi’s Narela area after asking for the return of Rs 100 he had lent to someone. The incident happened on February 15, and the man who did it, named Aman, has been arrested, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer North), Nidhin Valsan.
Police got a call saying a body was found in Narela. They quickly sent teams to investigate. The police registered a case and started looking into what happened. The body was found behind a rice mill in Vishal Bagh. At first, police couldn’t figure out who the person was, so they went door-to-door to find out.
After two days of searching, the dead person was identified as Bunty, who lived in Dada Mai colony in Bankner. The police then checked 140 CCTV cameras to see if they could find any clues. Even though the suspect tried not to be caught by avoiding using his phone, the police managed to catch him.
When they questioned him, Aman admitted he had attacked Bunty. He said the fight started when he refused to give back the Rs 100. Aman made Bunty drunk, then hit him on the head with a brick, which killed him. The police confirmed that the reason for the murder was the argument over the small amount of money.
