iPhone 16e sale starts Feb 28: Get ₹10,000 off, check offers & stores

Apple has launched a new phone called the iPhone 16e. It was released on February 19, and people could start booking it from February 21. The phone will be available for sale from February 28. The price of the phone in India starts at ₹59,900, but buyers can get a discount and pay only ₹49,900. The offer is given by Redington, which is Apple’s official seller in India.

Redington is giving a ₹4,000 discount to people who buy the iPhone 16e using credit cards from ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, or SBI Bank. After this discount, the price of the phone becomes ₹55,900. There is also an exchange offer, where people can give their old phone and get up to ₹6,000 off. If someone gets the full exchange offer, they will have to pay only ₹49,900. The discount on the old phone depends on its condition and model. It is good to check the price of the old phone before exchanging it. If Redington offers a lower price, people can sell their phone on other websites like Cashify to get a better deal.

These discounts are available in all Redington stores in India. The sale of the iPhone 16e will start at 8 AM on February 28 in all these stores.

The iPhone 16e comes in three models with different storage. The 128GB model costs ₹59,900, the 256GB model is priced at ₹69,900, and the 512GB model costs ₹89,900.

The iPhone 16e has some changes in its design. It has a 6.1-inch OLED screen. The phone has Face ID, which helps unlock the phone by scanning the user’s face. The mute button, which was present in older iPhones, is now removed. Instead, there is a new Action Button, which can be used for different tasks. The charging port has also changed from the old Lightning port to a USB-C port, which is more common and can be used with other devices.

The phone runs on Apple’s latest A18 chip, which makes it faster and smarter. It has new features like Genmoji, Writing Tools, and ChatGPT support. Apple has also said that in the future, the phone will get an update for Visual Intelligence, which will add more smart features. Earlier, Apple did not say how much RAM the phone has, but a recent test showed that it has 8GB of RAM. This is needed for running Apple’s smart features properly.

The iPhone 16e has a 48-megapixel camera at the back. This camera is similar to the one on the iPhone 16 but is slightly smaller. The camera has a 2x digital zoom and features like Portrait mode, Night mode, and HDR for better pictures. The front camera is 12 megapixels and has autofocus, which helps in taking clear selfies and video calls. The phone can also record 4K videos at up to 60 frames per second, making it good for high-quality videos.
