IMD forecasts rain in Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha till Feb 23

The weather office has said that the weather will change in many parts of India till February 23. Some states will see hotter days, while other places will have strong winds, thunderstorms, heavy rain, and even hailstorms.

The weather report says that light to medium rain will happen in many states. These states are Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam, and Meghalaya. These places will have cloudy skies and rain in the coming days.

In the last 24 hours, the night temperature has gone up by 1 to 4 degrees Celsius in many parts of Northwest India, except Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, East India, Peninsular India, Assam, and Meghalaya. But in West India, Rajasthan, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, the night temperature has fallen by 1 to 4 degrees Celsius.

The day temperature has also changed. In more than ten states, the temperature during the day has gone up by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius. But in West Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, the temperature has dropped by the same amount.

People are advised to stay alert and check weather updates often, especially in places where heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected. The weather office will give more updates based on new reports.
