Many students think that to study at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), they need to get a good score in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). While it’s true that IITs need JEE and JAM scores for some undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD courses, there are also other courses where you do not need these scores.
If you are interested in short-term or certificate courses in subjects like data science, machine learning, robotics, virtual and augmented reality, and user experience design, IIT offers a chance to learn without needing JEE scores. These courses provide both theory and hands-on learning, helping students understand and apply new technologies.
One of the courses offered by IIT Delhi is the Executive Programme in Robotics. It is a 5-month course starting on March 1, with a fee of Rs 1,69,000 plus taxes. It focuses on robotics and how it connects with new technologies. Classes will be held on weekends, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
Another option is the Advanced Certification Programme in UX Strategy, which starts on March 16. This 6-month course costs Rs 1,70,000 plus taxes. It teaches how to design user-friendly experiences that influence how people use products. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 PM to 9:30 PM.
IIT Delhi also offers a Certificate Programme in Applied Data Science and AI, which starts on March 30. This 6-month course teaches about deep learning and natural language processing. It costs Rs 1,69,000 plus taxes and is open to students with a background in science or technology.
For those interested in data science, IIT Delhi offers an Advanced Certification in Data Science and Decision Science. This 8-month course costs Rs 1,89,000 plus taxes. It teaches how to manage data and use it to make better decisions.
The Executive Programme for Tech Product Management is a 5-month course about managing technology products. It costs Rs 1,69,000 plus taxes. Students will learn how to manage the development of products, from start to finish. Classes will be held on Saturdays from 10 AM to 1:30 PM.
If you want to learn more about designing user-friendly experiences, IIT offers a Certificate Programme in Design Thinking for User Experience. This 6-month course costs Rs 1,50,000 plus taxes. It focuses on creating products that are easy for users to understand and enjoy using.
IIT Delhi also offers courses in machine learning and artificial intelligence, which are technologies that help machines learn and make decisions. One such course is the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Industry programme. It costs Rs 1,69,000 plus taxes and lasts for 6 months.
For those interested in virtual and augmented reality, IIT Delhi offers a course on these technologies. It is a 6-month course, costing Rs 1,59,000 plus taxes. The course will teach students about the trends and uses of virtual and augmented reality.
Finally, the Certificate Programme in Machine Learning and Deep Learning is another 6-month course, costing Rs 1,69,000 plus taxes. This course teaches Python programming and helps students understand the basics of machine learning and deep learning.
These courses are great options for those who want to learn new skills in technology, without needing to take the JEE exam. Whether you are a professional or a student, IIT Delhi’s courses can help you improve your skills and move forward in your career.
