ICSE Class 10 board exams 2025 start today: Timetable & guidelines

The ICSE Class 10 board exams for 2025 started today, February 18, and will finish on March 27, 2025. The exams are in a pen and paper format. The first exam is English Paper 1, and the last one is Environmental Science. The exams will be on different days, and each subject will have a set time. The exam time will be between 2 to 3 hours depending on the subject.

Students can find the timetable on the official CISCE website. To do this, they need to go to the "Notice Board" section and click on "Time Table of ICSE Year 2025 Examination" for Class 10. The timetable will show up, and students can download and print it. The exams will begin at either 9 AM or 11 AM, depending on the subject. The duration of each exam is usually between 2 to 3 hours.

Here are some key exam dates: English Paper 1 is on February 18, Literature in English is on February 21, Art Paper 1 (Still Life) is on February 22, and Art Paper 2 (Nature Drawing/Painting) is on February 24. Exams for second languages like Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil will be on February 25. Economics will be on February 28, and Art Paper 3 (Original Composition) will be on March 1. Students will have Mathematics on March 4 and Hindi on March 6. Other exams, such as Robotics & Artificial Intelligence, will be on March 8. History & Civics will be on March 10, Geography on March 12, and Physics on March 17. The final paper, Environmental Science, will be on March 27.

Students should make sure to reach the exam hall at least 30 minutes before the exam starts. Before the exam, students will have 15 minutes to read the question paper. During the exam, they are not allowed to leave the hall before the exam time ends. If students notice something missing, like a map or graph sheet, they should tell the supervisor right away. Students must answer only the number of questions asked in the paper.

When writing the answer sheet, students should write the Subject, Index Number, and Unique ID on the top of the first page. If they use extra sheets, they should write this information there as well. Students should write on both sides of the pages and leave a small space at the sides. They should follow the order of questions in the paper and leave a blank line after each answer. It’s important to write neatly and check the spelling of words. Students should use only blue or black ink, and pencils can be used for diagrams.

Using electronic devices like calculators is not allowed in the exam. The results for the ICSE Class 10 exams will be out in May 2025. For more details, students should visit the official CISCE website.
