The CBSE board held the Class 10 Sanskrit and Class 12 Business Studies exams today. The exams started at 10:30 AM and ended at 1:30 PM. These exams were held in 7,842 centres in India and 26 places in other countries. This year, about 42 lakh students from 8,000 schools are giving the Class 10 and 12 board exams.

To stop cheating, CBSE made strict rules. Students were checked properly before entering the exam hall. They were not allowed to bring mobile phones or any electronic items.

The Class 12 Business Studies question paper had four parts. The first part had multiple-choice questions. These were simple, and students could find the right answers easily. The second part had direct questions that were easy to understand. Some questions were based on real-life situations, but they were not very hard. The third part asked students to remember and explain ideas from their books. The last part had long questions with case studies. Two questions in this part were a bit tough.

Teachers shared their views on the paper. Alamelu Parameswaran, a Commerce teacher from JAIN International Residential School, Bengaluru, said that the paper was well-planned and followed CBSE rules. She said that students who studied properly the whole year would find it easy. She also said that the paper covered all topics from the syllabus, and the marks were given correctly for each chapter.

Another teacher, Meera Pandey from VidyaGyan School, Bulandshahr, also praised the paper. She said it tested students’ understanding and thinking skills. She explained that students who studied regularly found the exam simple, while those who studied only at the last moment found it hard. She also said that the paper had a good mix of different types of questions. Many students were happy and satisfied after the exam.

CBSE has also made strict rules about what students can bring to the exam hall. Regular students must wear their school uniform. Private students should wear light and simple clothes. Students can bring a pen, pencil, eraser, scale, and transparent pouch. They can also carry a transparent water bottle and a normal wristwatch. But mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, calculators, wallets, handbags, and food items are not allowed. Diabetic students are allowed to carry food if needed.

Some people recently spread rumours that a CBSE exam paper had leaked. But CBSE said that these claims are false. The board said that no paper was leaked, and some people are spreading fake news to create fear among students. CBSE officials are keeping a close watch on such people and will take action against them. The exams will continue as planned, and students should focus on their studies.
