Might as well nominate a TikTok dance for Best Choreography.” Many users expressed their disbelief, calling the news “embarrassing.” Memes mocking the nomination flooded social media platforms.

The Oscars 2025 Eligible Films List
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences recently unveiled a list of 323 feature films eligible for this year’s Oscars. Out of these, 207 films meet the criteria for the prestigious Best Picture category.

Among these contenders are five Indian films:
