OnePlus has launched its latest flagship phone, the OnePlus 13, in India. The phone starts at a price of Rs 69,999 and will be available for sale through Amazon starting January 10. The OnePlus 13 comes with several upgrades, including a new design, more powerful chipset, bigger battery, and improved camera system. With these changes, it aims to keep the "flagship killer" title that OnePlus is known for.
OnePlus 13 Pricing and Sale Details
The OnePlus 13 is priced at Rs 69,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version. There is also a 16GB RAM + 512GB storage version priced at Rs 76,999, and a 24GB RAM + 1TB storage model for Rs 89,999. The phone will go on sale on January 10 via Amazon and other online and offline platforms. If you use an ICICI bank card, you can get a discount, with the base model's price dropping to Rs 64,999. Along with the phone, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 is priced at Rs 11,999, and the 50W OnePlus magnetic wireless charger costs Rs 5,999.
OnePlus 13 Full Specifications
Design
The OnePlus 13 shares some similarities with the OnePlus 12 but comes with a fresh new look. The back of the phone has a circular camera module with four sensors. The sides and screen are now flat instead of curved, and the phone comes in new color options. It is available in leather and glass finishes in Blue (leather), Obsidian (glass), and White (glass). The phone looks slimmer, and the silver accents on the rear camera module and side frames add a premium feel.
Display
The OnePlus 13 features a 6.82-inch 120Hz QHD+ display with Dolby Vision support, the same as the OnePlus 12 but with some improvements. The display is flat and has 1,600 nits of local brightness in high brightness mode and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. This display also allows use with gloves, making it useful in colder weather. It is protected by Ceramic Guard, which helps prevent scratches.
Chipset and Software
The OnePlus 13 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, built on a 3nm process, which promises better performance and efficiency. The phone is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It runs on OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, offering a smoother experience. The OnePlus 13 will receive four years of major Android updates and five years of security patches.
Battery
The OnePlus 13 comes with a bigger 6000mAh battery, up from 5400mAh in the OnePlus 12. The company claims it can last almost two days on a single charge. The phone supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. An interesting feature is a 5,000mAh magnetic wireless charging power bank that can stick to the phone for quick charging.
Camera
The OnePlus 13 keeps the 50-megapixel LYT-808 main camera from the OnePlus 12 but upgrades the telephoto and ultrawide sensors to 50-megapixels each. The phone supports 4K/60fps Dolby Vision video recording and has a 32-megapixel front camera.
Waterproofing and Biometrics
The OnePlus 13 is rated IP68 and IP69, meaning it can withstand water immersion and high-pressure water jets. It also features an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that works even with wet hands and is faster to unlock the phone. The phone comes with an upgraded vibration motor, which gives "gaming controller level feedback," making it more responsive during gaming.
With its updated features, the OnePlus 13 is set to be a strong competitor in the flagship smartphone market.
