Nestle India announces Q3 2025 results date, sets record for interim dividend

Nestle India is ready to announce its financial results for the December quarter on January 31, 2025. The company's Board of Directors will also discuss the possibility of declaring a second interim dividend for the financial year 2024-25 during this meeting.

According to an exchange filing, the company informed that it would consider the unaudited financial results for the third quarter and the nine months ending December 31, 2024, in a meeting scheduled for Friday, January 31, 2025. During the same meeting, the Board will also discuss the second interim dividend for the financial year 2024-25.

Nestle India has set February 7, 2025, as the record date for the dividend, meaning that only those who own shares on this date will be eligible for the dividend. If the second interim dividend is declared, it will be paid starting from February 27, 2025.

In the stock market, Nestle India's shares saw a 1% increase in Friday's trading session, closing at ₹2,209.90 per share.

In terms of financial results, Nestle India had a slightly lower profit for the September 2024 quarter. The company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹899 crore, which is a small decrease from ₹908 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. This is a decline of nearly 1% compared to the previous year.

The company's revenue from operations for the quarter was ₹5,104 crore, showing a small growth of 1.3% from ₹5,037 crore during the same period last year. Nestle India's product sales also grew by 1.3%, reaching ₹5,074.76 crore compared to ₹5,009.52 crore in the previous year’s quarter.

Suresh Narayanan, Chairman and Managing Director of Nestlé India, shared his thoughts on the results. He explained that despite a tough environment with lower consumer demand and high prices for important ingredients like coffee and cocoa, the company managed to stay strong and keep growing. He also mentioned that five of Nestlé India's top 12 brands grew at double-digit rates. However, some of their key brands faced pressure because of slower consumer spending, but they have solid plans in place to handle these challenges. He added that 65% of Nestlé India's top 12 brands, including the popular MAGGI noodles, showed positive volume growth over the past nine months.
