Actor Kartik Aaryan and director-producer Karan Johar seem to share a relationship filled with ups and downs. Their first project together, Dostana 2, was shelved in 2019, reportedly due to a disagreement. However, the two have now surprised fans by announcing that they will work together on a new film.
In a recent interview with Screen magazine, Kartik spoke openly about his equation with Karan. He admitted that their bond can be described as a "love-hate relationship." Recalling a specific moment from the past, Kartik shared an anecdote about a photo of Karan pulling his ear. With a laugh, he said, "What can I say about this? I think it perfectly shows our love-hate relationship."
He went on to explain the story behind the photo, saying, "This was taken when we signed our first film together, which unfortunately never happened. It was a special moment back then. I think Karan already knew what was coming, so he took the picture early on."
On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan has been making waves in Bollywood. He recently enjoyed success with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and has other exciting projects lined up. He collaborated with director Sameer Vidwans on Satyaprem Ki Katha and earned praise for his performance in the sports film Chandu Champion. Fans are also eagerly awaiting his upcoming romantic drama, Aashiqui 3.
Now, with the announcement of his new venture with Karan Johar, fans are curious to see how this reunion will turn out. It seems that despite their differences, Kartik and Karan are ready to work together and deliver something exciting for the audience.
