Hrithik Roshan marks 25 years in Bollywood, says he dislikes words like 'milestone.'

Hrithik Roshan, one of the most loved actors in Bollywood, completed 25 years in the Hindi film industry on Tuesday evening. To celebrate this special occasion, he hosted a meet-and-greet event with fans and the media. The actor opened up about his journey and said he doesn't like words like "legacy" or "milestone" to describe his silver jubilee in cinema.

Hrithik began his acting career in 2000 with the blockbuster movie Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, directed by his father, Rakesh Roshan. The film also launched Ameesha Patel as a debut actress. Recalling his initial days, Hrithik said, "When Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai released, I was so shy and nervous that I didn't do a single interview. I didn't go for any promotional events. I just stayed home.". Now, after 25 years, that part of me hasn't changed. I am still just as shy and anxious.

To celebrate this milestone, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai is set to re-release in theatres on Friday, January 10, coinciding with Hrithik’s 51st birthday. Despite completing 25 years in the film industry, the actor humbly expressed his discomfort with celebrating the moment as a “legacy” or “milestone.” He said, “It’s been 25 years, but I’m not here to say, ‘25 years, yeah!’ That’s just not me.”

Since his inception into the cinematic industry, Hrithik Roshan has had a succession of hit movies that received acclaim and admiration. Some of these films are popularly remembered such as Mission Kashmir, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Dhoom 2, Jodhaa Akbar, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Super 30, War, and Vikram Vedha.

Hrithik also took a moment to thank his fans and the media for their support over the years. "I truly believe that you all have helped me become the person and actor I am today. Through your questions and interactions, I have learned and grown. At times, you made me feel responsible, and other times, accountable. For all of this, I'm deeply grateful," he said.

Looking ahead, Hrithik is set to feature in some exciting projects. He is going to feature in War 2, along with Jr NTR. It is a sequel to his action hit War that released in 2019. He is also working on Krrish 4, which has been much talked about.

In this important chapter of his life, Hrithik Roshan continues to be earthy, thankful, and geared up to continue entertaining his fans for years to come.
