Amid divorce rumours, Abhishek Bachchan praises Aishwarya Rai, 'Proud of her

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has recently been in the news due to rumors about his personal life. There have been reports suggesting that he is separating from his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. At the same time, some have linked him romantically to his co-star from the movie Dasvi, Nimrat Kaur.

In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Abhishek spoke openly about family, comparisons with others, and his admiration for his wife and parents. He shared his thoughts on how comparisons with his father, Amitabh Bachchan, have been a part of his life for many years.

Abhishek understands that comparisons with Amitabh Bachchan are inevitable, but he chooses to view them in a positive light. "If you're comparing me to my father, you're comparing me to the best," he said. "If you're comparing me to the best, that means I must have something in me that makes me worthy of being considered alongside such great names." Despite facing these comparisons throughout his career, Abhishek has learned to stay strong and focused.

The actor also spoke proudly of his family’s achievements. He expressed deep respect for his wife, Aishwarya Rai, saying that he values everything she has accomplished. "My parents are my parents, my family is my family, my wife is my wife, and I am immensely proud of them and everything they continue to do," he shared in the interview.

Abhishek also praised his father, Amitabh Bachchan, for his unwavering dedication. He pointed out how even at the age of 82, Amitabh continues to work tirelessly. "We are sitting here in a comfortable room in Mumbai, having coffee during this interview, while my father is out there shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati from 7 in the morning," Abhishek said. "He leads by example, and I admire that."

Abhishek expressed his hope to inspire his daughter in the same way his father inspires him, continuing to work hard and set an example as he grows older.

This interview revealed not only Abhishek's admiration for his family but also his determination to stay grounded despite the challenges and pressures he faces.
