Shweta Rohira, known for her acting and modeling, was involved in a serious road accident on January 29, 2025. The accident has left her with severe injuries, and she shared updates about her condition from her hospital bed. In her post, the 29-year-old actress gave her fans a glimpse into her recovery journey, reflecting on how quickly life can change.
Shweta, who is also the first wife of actor Pulkit Samrat, has built a name for herself in the entertainment world. She’s known for her roles in the theater production That’s My Girl and short films like Parineeti. She has also modeled for popular brands, including Ritus Secondskin and Boy London. Her fans, who love her for her work, were deeply concerned after hearing about the accident.
On Instagram, Shweta posted two powerful photos from her hospital bed. One shows her lying on the bed, clearly in pain, and the other reveals the deep cuts on her lips. Along with the pictures, Shweta shared her thoughts about life’s unpredictability. “Life is full of surprises, isn’t it? One moment, you’re humming #kalhonaho and planning to tackle your day. The next moment, life decides to say, ‘Hold my chai,’ and sends a bike your way,” she wrote. She explained how she went from walking to suddenly being knocked down by a bike, stressing how quickly things can change.
In her post, Shweta talked about the extent of her injuries. “For no fault of mine, I found myself going from walking to flying (not the Bollywood slow-mo kind, sadly) and landing straight onto forced rest mode. Fractured bones, bruises, and endless hours in bed—this wasn’t on my to-do list.” This message spoke to many people who have faced unexpected challenges in life.
Even though she’s in pain, Shweta’s post shows her strength and determination. She believes that sometimes life shakes us to break us, but it’s also what helps us become stronger. “The truth is, sometimes life shakes us to break us, only to rebuild us stronger. After all, destruction paves the way for construction,” she wrote. She also reminded her followers that pain doesn’t last forever, but our ability to be strong and resilient does. “Pain is temporary, but resilience is forever,” she said, encouraging others to keep going despite tough times.
Shweta’s post also brought up memories of her past with Pulkit Samrat. The two were married for a short time, from 2014 to 2015, and their divorce was surrounded by controversy. Shweta had publicly accused actress Yami Gautam of playing a role in their separation. However, Shweta has focused on moving forward and healing on her own, without letting her past hold her back.
While her post showed the physical toll of the accident, it was Shweta’s hopeful message that resonated with many. She ended her post with a lighthearted remark, saying, “P.S.: I might look like Humpty Dumpty in this hospital bed, but I promise to come back stronger—and maybe with a new song to hum!” Her humor in the face of such hardship shows her positive attitude and determination to overcome whatever comes her way.
Fans and friends have shown an outpouring of support for Shweta, hoping she recovers quickly and returns to doing what she loves. The entertainment world is eagerly awaiting her recovery and looks forward to seeing her back in action soon.
We all hope that Shweta Rohira’s strength and resilience help her recover fully and return stronger than ever.
