His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Communications Technologies Authority, witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Authority and Syska Hennessy Group at Aljada on Monday morning.
The agreement was signed by Rashid Ali Al Ali, Executive Director of SCTA, and Kostas Tsekouras, Managing Director of SyskaHennessy Group.
The partnership aims to create a strong framework for strategic cooperation between both sides. It focuses on improving coordination and sharing technical knowledge, especially in the field of data centres and advanced technology infrastructure.
This agreement is expected to support the growth of modern technology ecosystems in Sharjah. It will also help improve the efficiency of future projects and contribute to SCTA’s long-term goals in communication and technology sectors.
The deal also opens new opportunities for business development, joint promotion of services, and exploration of investments. Both parties will work on delivering innovative solutions based on global best practices. This step will strengthen Sharjah’s position in the fast-growing data centre and technology infrastructure sector.
For SyskaHennessy Group, the agreement will support its expansion in Sharjah by simplifying the process of launching operations. It will also enhance SCTA’s global partnerships and international presence.

During the event, commemorative shields were exchanged between both sides. On the sidelines, Sheikh Sultan also met SCTA employees, reviewed their roles, and appreciated their efforts. He also took commemorative photos with the team.
