In a vibrant ceremony held in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, the Embassy of Kenya in the UAE marked the occasion of Kenya’s Independence Day with a special reception. Attended by a range of diplomats, officials, and esteemed guests, the event highlighted the enduring friendship between the two nations.
Sultan Al Shamsi, who serves as the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development Affairs and International Organisations, was present alongside various members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic community. Their attendance underscored the robust cooperation between the UAE and Kenya.
Kenneth Milimo Nganga, Kenya’s Ambassador to the UAE, expressed pride in the close ties that exist between the two countries. He emphasized Kenya's resolve to explore all avenues to enhance these relations for the mutual benefit of both societies.
