Since its opening on December 8 at Zayed Sports City, the Abu Dhabi Marathon Village 2025, organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and supported by ADNOC, has attracted thousands of visitors. This vibrant venue serves as a hub for runners and communities in anticipation of the seventh Abu Dhabi Marathon happening on December 13. Attendees can enjoy a variety of sports activities and entertainment, creating a dynamic atmosphere for all. Additionally, participants can collect their race kits in a festive setting designed to enhance the overall excitement of the event.
The village operates daily from 15:00 to 22:00, allowing ample time for guests to indulge in the offerings. On race day, it opens early, from 05:00 to 13:00, ensuring that both runners and their supporters can fully engage in the available activities. Attractions include fitness classes, yoga sessions, and workout programs suitable for everyone. Kids can enjoy dedicated play areas equipped with games and interactive activities, complemented by live music and artistic performances that contribute to the celebratory mood.
Several sponsor and partner pavilions highlight the latest in sports, health, and fitness innovations. Registered runners have the opportunity to pick up their official Nike race shirts and discover unique medals featuring the marathon course map. Talal Al Hashemi, Executive Director of the Events Sector at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, emphasized the village's significance within the marathon experience. He noted that it unites runners, families, and visitors within a cohesive environment, reinforcing the event’s global reputation and its emphasis on health and community interaction.
On December 11 at 16:00, the village will host a press conference with elite international athletes. This gathering will provide media representatives insights into the preparation and expectations of the runners ahead of the marathon. Furthermore, the village plays a crucial role in promoting an active lifestyle and inspiring community involvement in sports. It fosters an inviting atmosphere where both runners and guests can share in the anticipated excitement leading up to the marathon.
