National Ambulance is set to deliver emergency medical support for the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025 at Yas Marina Circuit, running from December 4th to 7th. This marks a remarkable 12 consecutive years of the organization’s dedication to ensuring safety and preparedness at significant sporting events across the UAE.

This year, around 70 highly qualified professionals, including doctors, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, command staff, pharmacists, and additional support personnel, are on duty. They will be stationed throughout the circuit, including the Medical Center, to provide comprehensive medical support to Formula 1 drivers, team members, and event organizers.

The operation is backed by a fleet of 14 fully equipped ambulances, ready to swiftly address any medical emergencies that may arise on-site. National Ambulance collaborates closely with partners like the Emirates Motorsport Organisation (EMSO), Yas Marina Circuit, Ethara, and various key stakeholders to ensure seamless and coordinated medical services.

In addition to the Grand Prix, National Ambulance maintains year-round emergency services at Yas Marina Circuit, supporting a range of activities, including motorsport events, entertainment shows, and community health initiatives. Their ongoing presence reinforces the commitment to a high standard of safety for both participants and spectators.

Officials stress that preparation for the Grand Prix encompasses more than just mobilizing personnel and vehicles. Regular drills, coordinated communication systems, and adherence to stringent protocols are conducted to effectively manage all types of medical emergencies. This attention to detail guarantees rapid responses and elevates the overall safety of the event.
