Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has approved the launch of the Dubai Metro Gold Line, the emirate’s largest and most advanced public transport project.
The project, valued at AED34 billion, will feature a 42-kilometre fully underground metro line with 18 stations. It will be the first completely underground metro line in Dubai.
The new Gold Line will connect with both the Red and Green Lines of the Dubai Metro and will also integrate with Etihad Rail, strengthening connectivity across the UAE.
