The Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) has been honored internationally, clinching the Bronze Award for the “Best Fan Engagement Programme” at the esteemed Sports Business Awards. This accolade underscores the Council’s creative efforts in engaging sports fans and crafting unforgettable experiences.
The award ceremony took place at Old Billingsgate in London, with Nasser Al Zaabi, Executive Director of the Strategic Affairs Sector at ADSC, representing the Council. This recognition follows the successful fourth edition of the Spartan World Championship, hosted from 28th November to 1st December 2024, where ADSC demonstrated its dedication to providing extraordinary sporting events.

The fourth edition of the Spartan World Championship took place at Al Wathba Desert in Abu Dhabi, organized by ADSC in collaboration with Spartan, a leader in endurance and obstacle course racing. This championship attracts over 6,500 competitors from more than 80 nationalities, making it one of the most significant global contests in physical endurance.
