Gallega Global Logistics has inaugurated a new 215,000 sq. ft. multi-user third-party logistics (3PL) hub at Jebel Ali Free Zone, strengthening logistics and supply chain operations across the UAE and GCC region.
The new facility is designed to improve regional distribution capabilities and provide faster and more reliable delivery services for businesses operating in local and international markets.
The advanced logistics hub features ultra-large multi-user warehousing facilities equipped with integrated management systems, flexible storage solutions, and technology-enabled logistics services. The project is expected to create more than 200 jobs while helping companies gain better access to regional and global markets through Jafza’s multimodal trade network.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Ghassan Aboud, Abdulla Al Hashmi, along with senior executives and industry leaders from the automotive, logistics, and banking sectors.
Ghassan Aboud, Chairman of Ghassan Aboud Holding, said the new logistics hub marks an important milestone in the company’s partnership with DP World. He added that the facility reflects the group’s long-term commitment to strengthening regional supply chains through advanced infrastructure and technology-driven operations.
Abdulla Al Hashmi, Global COO of Parks & Economic Zones at DP World, said the investment comes at a time when global supply chains are facing increasing geopolitical challenges. He noted that businesses now require greater flexibility, faster response times, and reliable market access to maintain smooth trade operations.
The new facility is part of a strategic partnership between Ghassan Aboud Holding and DP World GCC to deliver flexible and technology-enabled logistics solutions that support the growing demand for integrated supply chain services in the region.
Sara Rachid said the new center represents another major step in expanding Gallega’s logistics footprint in the UAE and international markets. She added that the free zone-based multi-user facility will help the company provide faster, more efficient, and more flexible logistics services for customers across different markets.
The new logistics hub is expected to improve delivery speed, strengthen service quality, and enhance supply chain resilience for regional and international business operations.
