On the evening of April 8, 2026, Jetseth Thaiseth toured the aftermath of a fire that erupted at a foam factory on Bangna-Trat Road, KM 13, in Samut Prakan, to show support for firefighters and rescue personnel. He lauded both the officials and volunteers for their rapid response in controlling the situation.
The outbreak began around 7:20 PM in a warehouse belonging to Wanli Packing Enterprise Co., Ltd., with flames spreading quickly due to the presence of highly combustible foam materials stored within the two connected single-story structures.
Fire crews from the Bang Chalong Subdistrict Municipality, along with volunteer teams, acted swiftly and initiated water spraying efforts to douse the flames. By approximately 9:00 PM, the fire was contained effectively, with no injuries or casualties reported.
Investigators will be dispatched to the site to ascertain the fire's cause, as authorities stress the critical nature of prompt action and effective coordination in mitigating further harm.
