Dubai, November 6, 2025: Nalapad Investments and MVK Holdings have announced the groundbreaking of Chrysalis International Academy, their third educational venture in the UAE, setting a new benchmark for British curriculum education in Dubai. Strategically located in Dubailand, the academy is designed to serve the growing residential communities in and around Dubailand and Liwan, aligning with KHDA’s vision to make Dubai a global hub for education, innovation, and lifelong learning.
Building on the success of Credence High School, a premier CBSE-affiliated institution in Al Quoz, and Crayons Nursery, an international early childhood centre under construction in Nad Al Sheba 1, Chrysalis International Academy will open its doors in September 2027. The school will offer a comprehensive British educational pathway from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 13, nurturing students into future-ready global citizens.
The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by Mr. Abdulla Khalifa Belhoul, CEO of TECOM Group, alongside government officials, education leaders, investors, and families, marking a milestone in Dubai’s educational landscape.
Mr. Abdulla Nalapad Ahmed, Managing Director of Nalapad Investments and Chairman of Credence High School, said: “Chrysalis International Academy is our promise to families in Dubai’s emerging communities. We aim to empower students academically while nurturing confidence, compassion, and ethical leadership. This academy is more than a school—it is a space for innovation, critical thinking, and holistic growth.”
Mr. Sameer K. Mohamed, Managing Director of MVK Holdings, added: “Families today seek more than academics. They want a safe, inspiring, and happy environment for their children. Chrysalis combines proven British educational practices with innovative design to support emotional, social, and intellectual development.”
The campus has been thoughtfully designed around KHDA’s Education 33 vision, focusing on sustainability, wellbeing, and inclusivity. Highlights include:
-
A raised football and cricket ground, padel courts, indoor badminton and basketball facilities, and professional cricket nets.
-
Temperature-controlled swimming pools for all age groups.
-
State-of-the-art auditorium and interactive learning spaces.
-
Specialist zones including STEAM labs, innovation hubs, art and music studios, and design & technology workshops.
-
Modern library and digital resource centres, inclusive classrooms, and landscaped outdoor learning areas.
Every classroom will be infused with natural light and cutting-edge technology, ensuring a stimulating and safe learning environment. The academy will follow the National Curriculum for England, enriched with STEAM, Arabic and Islamic Studies, and pathways to IGCSE and A-Level qualifications. Highly qualified UK educators will lead the teaching, supported by strong parent engagement initiatives to foster student growth and happiness.
Mr. Abdulla Nalapad Ahmed emphasized: “Chrysalis embodies excellence, inclusion, innovation, and wellbeing. We are committed to providing our children with an inspiring platform to explore their potential and make a positive impact on the world.”
