Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, strongly condemned the Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates, calling them “aggressive and terrorist acts” that threaten regional peace and stability.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Al Yamahi said the attacks represent a serious escalation and a clear violation of international law, the UN Charter and the principles of good neighbourliness. He warned that such actions pose a direct threat to Arab national security and increase tensions across the region.
The Arab Parliament Speaker said Iran’s repeated attacks reflect an aggressive approach aimed at spreading instability and undermining the security of the Middle East. He added that these actions threaten both regional and international peace and security.
Al Yamahi stressed that the Arab Parliament fully supports the UAE in all measures taken to protect its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also reaffirmed that the security of the UAE is an essential part of overall Arab national security.
He further called on the international community and the United Nations Security Council to take immediate and strong action against the attacks. He urged global leaders to adopt a deterrent stance to stop repeated Iranian violations and ensure the safety and stability of Arab countries.
The statement highlighted the Arab Parliament’s solidarity with the UAE and its continued support for efforts aimed at protecting citizens, residents and national infrastructure from security threats.
