His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a delegation from the Department of Government Enablement (DGE) – Abu Dhabi, led by His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of the department.
During the meeting, His Highness reviewed the latest achievements and updates of the Mawaheb Talent Hub in Al Ain Region. The discussion focused on efforts to train, qualify, and empower UAE Nationals and improve their participation in the job market through expanded employment opportunities and partnerships across the region.
He also reviewed progress made since the Empowering National Talents in Al Ain Forum, held in October 2025. The forum reaffirmed the commitment to support Emirati job seekers by aligning career opportunities with their skills, qualifications, and aspirations. The goal is to improve inclusion in the labour market and support youth employment in Al Ain.
His Highness highlighted the importance of continuous development of national talent programmes and strengthening their readiness for future jobs, especially in fast-growing sectors.
He stated that Emiratisation remains a strategic priority in line with the vision of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He stressed the need to equip citizens with skills in artificial intelligence, advanced technology, digital solutions, and innovation to meet global economic changes.
The DGE delegation also shared updates on community outreach activities, including 14 open days held across Al Ain Region in areas such as Al Shiwayb and Al Qua’a. These events aimed to connect with national talent and support recruitment in key sectors.
The meeting also reviewed preparations for the second Empowering National Talents in Al Ain Forum, scheduled for the final quarter of this year. The upcoming forum will continue efforts to support employment opportunities for UAE Nationals.
Earlier, the 2025 forum resulted in the signing of 17 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between DGE’s Mawaheb Talent Hub and various government, semi-government, and private sector entities. These agreements support job opportunities in banking, finance, education, emerging technologies, and customer service, along with training programmes to improve skills and long-term employment prospects.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan along with officials from DGE and Mawaheb Talent Hub.
