The award recognises TRENDS as a leading regional think tank that provides research, studies and strategic analysis to support decision-makers. Its work helps explain regional challenges, improve understanding of complex issues and predict future developments affecting the Arab region.
A delegation from TRENDS received the award on behalf of the organisation. The honour highlights innovation, institutional excellence and efforts that add value to the Arab world’s knowledge and cultural environment.
Dr Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, Chief Executive Officer of TRENDS, said the award reflects the organisation’s strong focus on quality and innovation. He added that TRENDS remains committed to producing reliable knowledge and detailed analysis that supports informed decisions and long-term planning.
Counsellor Madi Al-Khamis, Secretary-General of the Arab Media Forum, said the award aims to encourage Arab creativity and excellence. He praised TRENDS for its wide-ranging intellectual contributions and its role in strengthening cooperation between media institutions and research centres. He also noted that TRENDS’ participation in international events helps present a positive image of Arab research institutions worldwide.
The Kuwait Creativity Award was launched in 2009 and is one of the Arab Media Forum’s key initiatives. It honours outstanding achievements in media, culture, arts, advertising, sports and entrepreneurship, while also supporting youth-led initiatives across the Arab world.
