The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has continued its special welcoming initiative for pilgrims arriving at Taif International Airport as part of Saudi Arabia’s operational plan for the 1447 AH Hajj season.
Pilgrims arriving in the Kingdom were warmly received with flowers, gifts, and traditional Saudi hospitality to mark the beginning of their Hajj journey. The initiative reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to provide comfort and support to pilgrims from the moment they arrive.
The reception program also includes awareness and guidance services led by a selected team of qualified scholars and translators. Ministry staff are distributing educational brochures in several international languages to help pilgrims better understand Hajj rituals and religious guidelines.
In addition, pilgrims are being introduced to digital applications that provide easy access to religious information, instructions, and services related to performing Hajj rituals smoothly and correctly.
Many arriving pilgrims expressed happiness and appreciation for the warm reception and organized services provided at the airport. They praised the Saudi government’s efforts to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-supported Hajj experience for visitors coming from around the world.
