The second edition of the Digital Development Caravan has successfully reached Al-Hajra Governorate, marking its second stop after departing from Al-Makhwah Governorate. The initiative is being carried out under the directives of Al-Baha Region Governor, Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz.
The caravan is designed to enhance accessibility to essential services for citizens and residents, with a special focus on social security beneficiaries, senior citizens, and individuals with disabilities.
Currently hosted at Andalus Park in Al-Hajra, the caravan is running from April 6 to April 8, operating daily between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The event brings together a wide range of government entities, private sector participants, and nonprofit organizations.
Visitors to the caravan can access a variety of services, including employment and empowerment programs, social and healthcare support, as well as civil affairs, passport, and traffic-related services. In addition, the initiative emphasizes digital awareness and training, helping individuals improve their digital skills and access online services more efficiently.
To ensure inclusivity, the caravan also extends home-based services to individuals who are unable to attend the event in person, reinforcing its commitment to community outreach and support.
This initiative reflects ongoing efforts to improve service delivery and promote digital transformation across the region, making essential services more accessible and convenient for all segments of society.
