Dubai’s toll operator, Salik Company PJSC, has officially joined the International Bridge, Tunnel & Turnpike Association (IBTTA), the world’s leading organisation for toll road systems. The announcement was made during Salik’s participation in the Global Tolling Summit in Lyon, France, which gathered global leaders, government officials, and companies at the forefront of the roads and tolling sector.
IBTTA, headquartered in Washington, D.C., brings together toll operators, government bodies, and specialized organisations from around the world to exchange expertise on road infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels, and highways. Founded in 1932, the association promotes innovation, sustainable development, and the adoption of advanced mobility solutions across the sector.
Salik’s membership marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey and highlights Dubai’s commitment to adopting global best practices in tolling and intelligent mobility. The move is expected to deepen cooperation with international tolling systems and enhance Dubai’s standing as a global hub for smart and sustainable transport solutions.
