PureHealth has announced that it has surpassed AED6.33 billion in local procurement spending since joining the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology’s (MoIAT) National In-Country Value (ICV) programme in 2022.
The achievement marks a major increase from AED2.25 billion recorded in 2025, highlighting the group’s expanding role in supporting the UAE’s economic diversification and industrial growth.
The milestone was revealed during PureHealth’s participation at the Make it in the Emirates (MIITE) 2026 event, where the healthcare group showcased its continued efforts to strengthen local industries and improve the country’s healthcare ecosystem through the ICV programme.
PureHealth confirmed that it remains on track to achieve its AED13 billion ICV commitment by 2032. The company said its strategy focuses on strengthening local supply chains, supporting UAE-based industries, and driving sustainable economic growth.
The group reported strong ICV performance across its healthcare network. SEHA achieved an ICV score of 81.13 percent, while other entities including Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), Daman, PureLab, and Rafed also made strong contributions.
According to PureHealth, the group’s coordinated approach has helped integrate localisation into procurement, operations, and workforce development across its businesses.
Rashed AlQubaisi, Group Chief Operating Officer of PureHealth, said the company’s ICV strategy plays an important role in expanding its impact across the healthcare sector.
He stated that crossing AED6.33 billion in local procurement reflects PureHealth’s focus on investing in local suppliers, building national capabilities, and improving sourcing and logistics operations. He added that prioritising local capabilities also helps strengthen supply chain resilience, ensure continuity of care, and support the UAE’s long-term economic development goals.
PureHealth’s efforts have also received national recognition. In 2026, SEHA won the ICV Champion Award at Make it in the Emirates, while Rafed received the same award in 2025 for supporting SME participation through the ICV programme.
Additionally, Daman received three awards from the federal Emiratisation initiative Nafis, including first place for “Efforts Supporting Emiratisation” and a Diamond Category award for employee empowerment.
