The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) Group has announced that Morgan Stanley has joined as its first international Remote Trading Member. This move allows Morgan Stanley’s global clients to directly access trading on ADX.
This development is an important step in strengthening ADX’s global connectivity. It also reflects the rising demand from international institutional investors who are looking to invest in UAE markets. ADX continues to grow rapidly and is now considered one of the fastest-growing stock exchanges in the world by market capitalisation.
With remote trading membership, Morgan Stanley can offer its clients direct access to ADX through its global trading platform. This improves trading efficiency, enhances execution quality, and provides better control over the entire trading process.
ADX plays a key role in supporting Abu Dhabi’s long-term economic vision by promoting a diversified and innovation-driven economy. The addition of Morgan Stanley further strengthens the UAE’s position as an attractive destination for global investors.
Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi, Group CEO of ADX, said that this step supports their goal of building a leading global financial marketplace. He highlighted strong foreign investor activity, with trading value exceeding AED 85 billion in the first quarter of 2026, marking a 22% increase compared to the previous year.
Patrick Delivanis, Regional Co-Head of MENA at Morgan Stanley, stated that joining ADX reflects the firm’s commitment to providing seamless and efficient access to Abu Dhabi’s capital markets. He also noted the growing international participation in UAE markets.
The partnership follows a proven international trading model and aims to provide transparent and smooth access to investment opportunities listed on ADX.
Morgan Stanley’s membership aligns with ADX’s strategy to expand global access and attract high-quality international investments. In 2025, foreign investment in ADX increased by nearly 14%, while institutional trading grew by 10%.
Morgan Stanley is expected to begin trading on ADX as a remote member in the coming weeks, subject to final operational readiness.
