Dubai Chambers led a high-level delegation to Skopje, North Macedonia, to explore new trade and investment opportunities, marking a significant step in deepening bilateral economic relations. The visit, part of the ‘Growth Corridors’ initiative, brought together senior officials from both governments and the private sector to discuss strategies for economic cooperation.
The discussions focused on enhancing business collaboration across key sectors such as trade, energy, tourism, agriculture, technology, real estate, construction, and education. With non-oil trade between Dubai and North Macedonia reaching AED 1.8 billion from 2020 to 2024, both sides emphasized the potential for further growth.

The mission highlighted Dubai’s role as a global business hub and its advantages for North Macedonian companies seeking to expand internationally. High-potential export products identified included pharmaceuticals, apparel, bakery goods, preserved vegetables, marble, mineral waters, and copper wire. Meanwhile, the number of North Macedonian companies registered with Dubai Chamber of Commerce surged by 522% in under five years, demonstrating growing commercial engagement.
The delegation’s visit builds on earlier exchanges, including the North Macedonian Prime Minister’s visit to Dubai in April 2025. The initiative aims to create new avenues for trade, foster partnerships, and strengthen investment flows, reflecting Dubai’s proactive approach to global economic trends and its commitment to sustainable growth.
This mission reinforces Dubai’s strategy of connecting with high-potential international markets, opening doors for joint projects, and enabling businesses on both sides to explore new opportunities confidently.
