This August, Hong Kong will host prominent European football clubs, including Manchester City, Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Juventus, for thrilling pre-season friendlies, adding a vibrant burst of football energy to the region.
The matches are part of the “Hong Kong Football Festival,” taking place at the state-of-the-art Kai Tak Stadium, which boasts a seating capacity of 50,000 along with modern amenities such as a retractable roof and air-conditioning.
Kicking off the festival, Manchester City will take on Inter Milan on August 1. Pep Guardiola’s squad is expected to showcase star player Erling Haaland, promising an exhilarating experience for all fans.
Following that, Chelsea will face Juventus on August 5, bringing the event to a thrilling conclusion. Both teams are eager to gain momentum before the new season, heightening the anticipation around this fixture.
Currently, Inter Milan is at the top of the Serie A table, while Juventus aims to secure a spot in the Champions League. Chelsea, in contrast, is navigating a challenging phase under manager Liam Rosenior, given their recent form.
Fans will also have the chance to attend open training sessions, offering a closer look at top talents like Gianluigi Donnarumma, Cole Palmer, Lautaro Martinez, and Dusan Vlahovic.
