A new UAE humanitarian aid flight has departed from Al Maktoum International Airport to Egypt’s Al Arish as part of ongoing efforts to support people affected by the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
The mission is being carried out under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the UAE’s major relief campaign launched to provide humanitarian assistance to Palestinians in Gaza.
According to officials, the aircraft is carrying 100 tonnes of emergency aid. The supplies include medical equipment and medicines, nutritional support for children, and Eid clothing for families facing difficult conditions.
The relief operation is being conducted in cooperation with Emirates Red Crescent, International Charity Organisation, and Dar Al Ber Society.
Since its launch in November 2023, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has delivered more than 123,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Gaza under the directives of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
UAE officials said the initiative reflects the country’s continued commitment to providing humanitarian support and urgent relief to communities affected by crises around the world.
