Abu Dhabi, UAE – Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, officially inaugurated the Expo-Sciences International (ESI) 2025 at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.
The event drew the presence of key government officials and dignitaries, including Her Excellency Dr Maitha bint Salem Al Shamsi, Minister of State; His Excellency Dr Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat; His Excellency Khalfan Abdulla Khalfan Al Mansoori, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Hazardous Materials Management Centre; and His Excellency Mahmoud Salem Alalawi, Director General of the Corporate Efficiency Sector at Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority. In addition, the forum welcomed official and academic delegations from around the world.

Organised by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET), ESI 2025 gathers over 2,000 participants representing more than 45 countries. The event highlights the work of emerging talents in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), displayed across Halls 7–10 of the ADNEC Centre.
Addressing the event, His Excellency Dr Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Director General of ACTVET, expressed gratitude for the support of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He emphasized the leadership’s vision to advance technical and vocational education while empowering youth to harness science and innovation for the benefit of society. Dr Al Shamsi noted that Expo-Sciences International provides a global platform for young innovators to exchange ideas, showcase solutions, and contribute to a knowledge-based future.

ESI 2025 offers a diverse program including scientific seminars, interactive workshops, and cultural activities, aiming to foster international collaboration between educational and research institutions. The event runs until 1 October 2025, providing participants and visitors with opportunities to engage with cutting-edge scientific projects and innovation initiatives.
