Abu Dhabi, UAE – Masters Historic Racing brought its inaugural visit to Yas Marina Circuit to a spectacular close during the 2025 Formula 1® Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix week, delivering two electrifying races that highlighted the exceptional skill and competitive spirit of the Masters Racing Legends.
Sunday Standout Performances
Race 2 on Sunday showcased an extraordinary drive from Jamie Constable (OC Racing), who executed a breathtaking recovery from the back of the grid to claim victory. Constable’s relentless pace saw him outmaneuver several front-runners, cementing a memorable weekend performance. Sharing the podium were Mike Cantillon (Front Row Racing) in second and Stuart Hall (OC Racing) in third, both demonstrating remarkable comebacks after starting from the rear.
Saturday Podium Highlights
Race 1 on Saturday featured a fresh set of podium finishers, with Stuart Hall taking a commanding victory ahead of Oliver James Webb (G-Cat Racing) and Christophe D’Ansembourg. The race was characterized by intense wheel-to-wheel battles, notably between John Turner and Frédéric Fatien, providing fans with high-octane excitement throughout the contest. D’Ansembourg hailed his Abu Dhabi result as his strongest of the season.
Celebrating Formula 1’s Golden Era
The Masters Racing Legends grid celebrated the golden era of Formula 1, featuring meticulously maintained cars from 1966–1985. Each car highlighted the engineering excellence of its time, with Williams standing out as the sole team represented both in the historic field and in contemporary Formula 1®, symbolizing a legacy that spans decades.
