Dubai: Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar wished his son Arjun Tendulkar a happy 26th birthday on social media, sharing heartfelt messages and nostalgic photos.
“We are lucky to have you as our son. Watching you grow into the wonderful human being you are today has been a true joy. We are so proud of you. Happy birthday, @arjuntendulkar24!! May God bless you always,” Sachin wrote. The post included a childhood photo of Arjun in his father’s arms and a recent picture of the duo enjoying a cruise together.
Arjun, who represents Goa in domestic cricket, recently made headlines for dismissing Samit Dravid — son of former Indian captain Rahul Dravid — during the K Thimmapaiah Memorial Tournament at Alur. Playing for Goa, Arjun claimed three crucial wickets, including Dravid, finishing with figures of 3/54. Goa posted 338 runs after choosing to bat first, led by Lalit Yadav’s 113 and Abhinav Taneja’s 88. In the third innings, Goa ended the day at 45/2, with Manthan Khutkar on 18 and Ishaan Gadekar on 3.

This wasn’t the first Tendulkar-Dravid connection on the field. In the 2003/04 NKP Salve Challenger Trophy final, Sachin Tendulkar had bowled out Rahul Dravid while scoring 88 off 95 balls, helping India A post 314/6.
Off the field, Arjun recently got engaged to Saaniya Chandok, granddaughter of Mumbai-based businessman Ravi Ghai. The engagement was a private affair with close friends and family. No official statements have been released by either family.
Arjun Tendulkar continues to follow in his father’s footsteps, balancing professional cricket achievements with personal milestones.
