Abu Dhabi is gearing up to host the fourth edition of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open, a premier women’s tennis tournament, from 31 January to 7 February 2026 at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City. Following a record-breaking 2025 event that drew eight of the world’s top 20 players, next year’s tournament is expected to raise the bar, blending elite sport with entertainment for fans of all ages.
The WTA 500 event has quickly established itself as one of the most prestigious stops on the Hologic WTA Tour. The 2026 edition will feature 28 singles players and 16 top doubles teams, promising thrilling matchups and intense competition. Last year’s tournament saw Olympic gold medalist Belinda Bencic claim her second Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open title, defeating rising star Ashlyn Krueger in the singles final, while Jelena Ostapenko and Ellen Perez lifted the doubles trophy.

Beyond the on-court action, the tournament is designed as an immersive fan experience. The Fan Village offers live entertainment, interactive contests, and food and beverage options.
