In a major charity initiative in Abu Dhabi, the Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility) announced that the online charity auction titled “Most Noble Number” raised AED 119.4 million. The auction was organised in collaboration with Emirates Auction and concluded on 9 March 2026.
The funds collected from the auction will support two major humanitarian campaigns — the Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans, which focuses on providing sustainable financial support for orphan care, and the Edge of Life campaign, which aims to save five million children worldwide from hunger.
555 Special Number Plates Auctioned
The charity auction featured 555 distinctive vehicle number plates, including plates for private cars, motorcycles, and classic vehicles. The collection included:

The event attracted strong participation from business leaders, philanthropists, charitable organisations, and prominent figures from different economic sectors, highlighting the UAE community’s strong culture of generosity and social responsibility.
Campaign for Orphan Support
The Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans campaign was launched by Endowments and Minors’ Funds Authority (Awqaf Abu Dhabi) under the patronage of Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The initiative aims to create a sustainable financial fund dedicated to supporting orphan care and improving their future stability.
Global Hunger Relief Initiative
The Edge of Life campaign was launched by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to raise at least AED 1 billion. The campaign focuses on combating global hunger and aims to rescue five million children from starvation.
Officials Highlight Community Generosity
Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa said the strong response to the auction reflects the generosity and solidarity within the UAE community. He noted that such initiatives help support vulnerable communities while strengthening humanitarian values.
Dr. Abdulla Hamad AlGhfeli stated that the auction is part of the centre’s efforts to support humanitarian causes with long-term impact. He highlighted that cooperation between the public and private sectors helps create sustainable support for communities in need.
Meanwhile, Abdulla Matar Al Mannaei praised the success of the 2026 auction. He said the strong participation from society shows the UAE’s spirit of generosity and commitment to helping those in need.
Continuing the Tradition of Charity
The Most Noble Number auction is part of ongoing efforts by Abu Dhabi Mobility to support humanitarian initiatives. Previous editions of the auction have also generated significant funds for charity, reinforcing the UAE’s commitment to philanthropy and social responsibility.
