Abu Dhabi is taking a bold step in nurturing the next generation of innovators through the launch of the fourth edition of its Wyakom initiative. Designed as a community-driven platform, Wyakom empowers residents to submit creative and sustainable solutions that tackle pressing social challenges while promoting active community participation.
This year, the initiative focuses on youth, encouraging ideas that support growth, prosperity, and leadership. The aim is to equip young people with financial, social, and leadership skills, while fostering engagement through volunteering, sports, and the arts. Alongside this, the program highlights the importance of balancing work and life, and adopting a mindful approach to modern technologies.

A key feature of the current edition is the newly redesigned website, which offers an intuitive user experience for submitting ideas and connecting with the Wyakom team. This enhancement ensures a more engaging platform where community members can actively participate in shaping Abu Dhabi’s social landscape.
Since its inception, Wyakom has received over 530 ideas, many of which have been transformed into projects that positively impact the community. Participants in this cycle will benefit from interactive workshops aimed at refining their proposals and navigating the submission process. Winners will receive mentorship, development resources, and funding to turn their concepts into reality.
With the submission deadline set for 11 November 2025, the initiative is inviting residents to take an active role in driving innovation and community growth. By fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration, Wyakom continues to solidify Abu Dhabi’s commitment to inclusive, sustainable, and community-focused development.
