Dubai Chambers has officially announced the commencement of registrations for the second cycle of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award, which honors corporate excellence in the emirate. This award seeks to recognize enterprises that demonstrate outstanding performance, prioritize innovation, and promote sustainable growth, further solidifying Dubai's status as a global business hub.
This announcement took place during the 'Excellence Reimagined Forum', held at Dubai Chambers' main office, which attracted over 100 industry leaders to deliberate on the latest trends and standards in corporate excellence. Attendees gained insights into operational strategies, human resource management, technological advancements, and financial governance geared toward long-term sustainable growth.
Experts in various fields shared visionary strategies and emphasized best practices to enhance competitiveness and performance across diverse sectors. Participants also engaged in discussions about benchmarking models and international frameworks relevant to leadership, operations management, and corporate culture.
The award categorizes businesses into four key areas: the Outstanding Business Award, the Family Business Award, the Global Expansion Award, and the Digital Innovation Award. Each category correlates with Dubai Chambers' strategic goals and is backed by specialized chambers.
The evaluation framework encourages ongoing improvement, assessing measurable business outcomes such as leadership, strategy, workforce management, ESG efforts, digital innovation, and financial achievements. All entrants will receive a comprehensive report evaluating their submissions, while recipients of the awards can showcase their success stories and best practices within the business community.
Launched in 2005 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the award has celebrated organizations that augment Dubai's sustainable economic growth. The revamped 2023 iteration of the award includes significant advancements in its structure and evaluation criteria, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
This award is open to all businesses based in Dubai, including international firms with regional headquarters in the emirate, underscoring the city's commitment to nurturing a culture of excellence, innovation, and resilience.
