Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan is set to appear alongside his daughter Suhana Khan in the much-anticipated film ‘King’. The superstar is taking an active role in her preparation for the film's action scenes, having transformed the set into a full training ground. Shah Rukh is personally coaching Suhana in high-octane stunts.
The news about their father-daughter training session surfaced during a recent event by Danube Properties in Dubai, where Shah Rukh was present with filmmaker Farah Khan. Their light-hearted exchange on stage revealed Shah Rukh's hands-on approach in grooming Suhana for her role in ‘King’, quickly catching the attention online.
Farah praised both Shah Rukh’s son, Aryan Khan, for his debut web series The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, and commended Suhana's commitment. “Aryan has created an amazing series. Suhana has shown tremendous diligence and is now part of King. Shah Rukh is personally guiding her through the action scenes,” Farah remarked, to which Shah Rukh nodded affirmatively.
Suhana made her film debut in 2023 with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’, a coming-of-age musical alongside Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor. Her role in ‘King’ is highly anticipated, especially being in the company of her father.
The film's first look and teaser were revealed on Shah Rukh’s 60th birthday, showcasing a darker, more intense portrayal as he tackles challenging stunts. He described his character as “intriguing, flawed, and a ruthless individual who acts without hesitation.” The script is crafted by Siddharth Anand and Sujay Ghosh, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.
Featuring an impressive cast any audience would love, including Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, and Anil Kapoor, ‘King’ is set for release in 2026, promising an edge-of-your-seat mix of action, drama, and star appeal that fans look forward to witnessing in the theater.
